You've somehow stumbled onto the website of the New Vision Group of Alcoholics Anonymous. We take our name from the Eleventh Chapter (A Vision For You) of our basic textbook Alcoholics Anonymous , which we call "the Big Book". Now that you are here, please take the time to check us out.

Woodland Hills, California, AA group which sprang (according to them)
from another Big Book oriented AA group at the same location and has been
meeting there since 1985.

Bill W., Dr. Bob and Bill D. (the 3rd AA), it actually depicts a generic 12th Step call and not specific individuals.
As of this writing we have no explanation for the name change. More importantly, we don't, as yet, even know who the artist was. Stay tuned......
Originally called "Came to Believe", this popular AA illustration (right) was originally named for the AA booklet Came To Believe and appeared as a center spread in the December, 1955 Grapevine (our meeting in print) . The name was later changed to the "Man on the Bed".
